Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We use AlertPay as our merchant provider. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express & eCheck.

Q: Is my information safe with AlertPay?

A: Yes, AlertPay does not share your member information with any parties. "We want our members to feel secure when making an online payment." To transfer your information securely over the internet, they use Secure Socket Layer (128 bit SSL) to encrypt your sensitive information to ensure it is not intercepted by anyone on the internet during the transfer. Please read our Privacy Policy.

 

Q: When I tried to set up my website it gave me this error message "The email address you used does not match the email address you used to pay with."

A: After Alert Pay completes your payment and re-directs you back to the page where you get to configure site, you must use the same e-mail address you have associated with Alert Pay in order to create your account. Once you've created your site, then you can log into your back office and change it from there.

 

Q: How do I set up my subscriptions with a credit card?

A: To add your credit card as a payment method for subscriptions, just follow these steps:

1. Login to your AlertPay account.
2. Click on "Profile" and then "Financial".
3. Select "Payment Preferences".
4. Under "Payment Sending Preferences", select your credit card as your method of payment.

AlertPay will automatically attempt to deduct the funds from your available balance for your subscription payments, but the payment will only go through if the whole amount for the subscription is there. If funds are not available in your balance, only then will AlertPay attempt to deduct the funds from the credit card you have added and selected as your subscription payment method.

The third and final attempt will be made from your balance, so it is imperative that you make sure that your credit card has ample funds and has been added correctly.

The payment cannot be split between your balance and your credit card.

 

Q: How do you bill your subscribers?

A: All of our real time subscription packages are sold on an auto-renewed subscription basis. You can cancel your automated subscription at any time from your AlertPay account.

 

Q: What is a Transaction PIN?

A: When you signed up for your AlertPay account, you were asked to create a Transaction PIN. A Transaction PIN is required every time you send money, request money, withdraw funds, make a payment, close your account or change any information in your AlertPay account. This is an extra level of security to protect your account and personal information. If you have forgotten your Transaction PIN, please follow these instructions to reset it:

1. Login to your AlertPay account.
2. Click on “Profile”.
3. Under “Personal”, click on “Transaction PIN”.
4. Click on “Forgot your Transaction PIN?” and follow the instructions.

 

Q: I forgot my Transaction PIN, what do I do?

A: To reset your Transaction PIN, please follow these steps:

1. Login to your AlertPay account.   
2. Click on “Profile”.
3. Select “Transaction PIN”.
4. Click on “Forgot your Transaction PIN”.
5. Answer the security questions correctly.
6. Enter your new Transaction PIN and you’re done!

*Please make sure that your Transaction PIN consists of 4 - 8 numeric digits.

 

Q: What do I do if I forgot my AlertPay login password?

A: To reset your password, simply follow these steps:

1. Click on “Forgot Your Password” in the “Member Login” box.
2. Enter your primary email address and click on “Submit”.
3. You will receive an email with a link.
4. Click on the link in the email.
5. Answer your security questions and click on “Next”.
6. You will be prompted to choose a new password. Enter the new password as requested and click on “Send”.

 

Q: What is AlertPay account verification?

A: Account verification is our way to get to know you better. It enhances the security of your AlertPay account and our network and will allow you to send, deposit and withdraw more money than if your account were unverified.

With a verified account, you will also enjoy uninterrupted and faster transactions.

 

Q: How do I cancel my Subscription Payment?

A: You can cancel your subscription from your AlertPay account.

1. Login to your AlertPay account. 
2. Click on "Profile".
3. Under "Financial", select "Subscriptions".
4. Select "Subscriptions Purchased" if you are a subscriber or “Subscriptions Sold”
5. Select the subscription, click "Cancel", then "Next".
6. Review details and click on "Finish".

Please note: You must always follow this procedure if you wish to cancel a subscription.
